Two people have been killed and 13 others injured in a road accident involving a commercial bus and a truck after the J3 Junction on the Sagamu–Ijebu-Ode Expressway.
Spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, who confirmed the accident to journalists in Abeokuta, said, “Two vehicles were involved. A Toyota Hiace (GUE 59 ZY) belonging to Iyare Motors and a truck marked BGT 94 LG.
“The suspected cause of the crash is speed, as the bus driver rammed into the stationary truck parked on the shoulder of the road from the rear.

“The injured victims were taken to the Hope Hospital in J4 and the corpses were deposited at the general hospital’s morgue in Ijebu-Ode.”
