Two passengers lost their lives while eight others sustained injuries after a bus crashed at Gada-Buyi along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
A witnessed said the accident happened on Saturday around 11:12 am when the driver of an 18-seater commuter bus lost control after one the tyres busted.
He said the bus, which was conveying passengers from the eastern part of the country to Abuja, summersaulted and crashed into a ditch.
He said the injured passengers were rescued to the hospital by the officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) from Abaji unit command.

An official of the FRSC, who was part of the operation but preferred anonymity, confined the accident, saying one person died at the scene while one other died at the hospital.
He said the remaining eight victims were receiving treatment at Abaji General Hospital.
