The Kebbi State Government,  the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammed Mera  and other dignitaries, have praised NSK Polo Resort for successfully hosting the 8th Argungu Polo & Cultural Fete.

They commended the resort for its unwavering support in promoting commerce and tourism in the state.

The Emir, as the Special Guest of Honour, specifically recognized Nura Kangiwa and NSK Resort for their dedication to polo, culture, and tourism, which have had a positive impact on the Kabi Kingdom and the entire state.

The involvement of NSK Polo Resort in organizing the festival has redirected the energy of the youth towards positive engagement.

Additionally, a sister city partnership is being established between Argungu and the Borough of Manhattan in New York City, aiming to attract foreign investments and foster cultural and educational exchanges.

This partnership will also facilitate trade and economic ties in various sectors such as tourism, culture, arts, exhibitions, education, agriculture, and solid minerals.

The Argungu Polo Tournament and Culture Fete not only showcased the exciting sport of polo but also featured traditional activities like culinary arts, traditional wrestling, camel racing, horse racing, music, and dance.

Local communities are already reaping the economic benefits of the festival, as tourists and visitors actively participate in the cultural festivities.
