The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has explained why it arrested a comedian Sunday Martins.
Sunday Joshua Martins, a Nigerian skit maker better known as De General, was arrested by NDLEA operatives in Lagos State on Wednesday.

Speaking with Daily Trust on Wednesday in Abuja, the spokesman of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, said the comedian was arrested for drug-related issues.
“He (Martins) was arrested because drugs were found in his house. A detailed statement will be issued shortly,” Babafemi said.
A video of NDLEA officials making an arrest on popular Instagram skit maker, DGeneral at his house circulated on social media in the early hours of today.
In the said video, the officials of the agency were seen trying to arrest the skit maker. While resisting arrest, the funnyman was heard saying that he knows his fundamental human right.
