The police in Benue State have paraded 30 suspects for involvement in various criminal offences.
The Commissioner of Police (CP), George Chuku, said that the command clamped down on the criminal elements in collaboration with other security agencies within the past two weeks of his assumption of office in the state.

He said, “A total of 15 arms were recovered, two kidnap victims rescued and 15 suspects arrested, and another 13 robbery suspects and three cultists, making a total of 30 suspects in all arrested.”
He explained that among the suspects was a 24-year-old man, Abara Elias, held for sodomising an eight-year-old boy.
