Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command have killed one suspected armed robber and recovered a pistol at Kabusa, an Abuja suburb.
Commissioner of police in the FCT, CP Abubakar I Sadiq, disclosed this to newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Abuja on Saturday.
He said the incident happened around 4:40 am on Friday, following a distress call to Kabusa police division about robbery operation at ECWA II community at Kabusa village.
The CP said the police responded swiftly to engage the robbers, adding that in the process, one of the robbers was killed while others escaped with bullet wounds.

He said one pistol, one round of 9mm live ammunition, two axes, one mobile phone, and a silver whistle were recovered from the scene.
