The Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Jos North LGA of Plateau State, Samuel Dala Umaru, has partnered Sector One of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) to protect and give school children in the locality a safe learning environment.

The chairman noted that the partnership would not only boost learning through safety of teachers and the children, but would also help in avoiding the nightmare that might be caused by the menace of kidnappers and bandits.

He disclosed this when he received the Commander of Sector One, Navy Captain Mamuh Fana, who was in his office to seek more avenues for collaboration to curb kidnapping, banditry, activities of Sarasuka (thugs) and other criminal activities to ensure that school children, teachers and citizens in the locality are safe and secure.
