Brigadier General Yusuf Dogara Ahmed, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has appealed to Senator Uba Sani, the governor of Kaduna State, to provide suitable orientation camps for corps members in the state.
He emphasised that the camp, being the first point of contact for corps members, leaves a lasting impression of the state.
The NYSC DG made this plea during the opening ceremony of the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Pre-Orientation Course Workshop held in Kaduna on Tuesday.
It could be recalled that the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp along Kaduna Abuja Highway was shut down about two years ago due to insecurity challenges and relocated to a temporary site at Government College within the state metropolis.
