The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) in Benue State on Tuesday paraded a six-time convict and three others for their involvement in criminal acts within Makurdi metropolis.

The command’s spokesman, Ejelikwu Michael, said that the 27-year-old, Asase Destiny, had been convicted six times for robbery and other crimes before breaking the law again.

He said Asase was arrested on Friday at the Logo 1 area in Makurdi for robbery, criminal trespass, assault, criminal intimidation and cheating, adding that three stolen phones and weapons were recovered from him.

Michael explained that the two others: Tarkumbu Ternenge David (23) and Atakpa Shadrach Akaaha (32), were arrested at the David Mark Bypass in Makurdi for criminal conspiracy and willful destruction of rail track.

He said the fourth suspect, James Favour Simon (27), was arrested at North Bank, a suburb of Makurdi, for criminal intimidation, impersonation and homosexuality, adding that they would soon be charged to court.
