Mikano Int’l backs medal hopeful Bolaji as Paralympics begins today

Mikano International has announced its sponsorship of Nigeria’s badminton player Eniola Bolaji, at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, starting from today, August 28 to September 8.

Eniola Bolaji who will begin the contest against India’s Mandeep Kahur in the women’s singles SL3 category in Group B on Thursday, August 29 was bidded farewell during a mini send-off organised in Lagos.

The team from Mikano highlighted that Bolaji’s hard work and dedication was an inspiration to the youths, thus motivating their support for the young athlete on the world stage.

The team described Eniola Bolaji has inspired countless individuals with her determination, strength, and unwavering spirit.

Within a short period of time, she has accrued several medals and achieved many firsts, including being the first African gold medallist in a World Para-badminton championship and qualifying for the SL3 Para- badminton event at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

This is a monumental feat a player who started her para-badminton journey in 2021? and is now ranked third globally.

In her response, Bolaji expressed her gratitude for the support, describing the sponsorship as a motivation to make the podium finish at the Paralympics.
