The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, yesterday held a meeting with a former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.
Our correspondent gathered that the meeting took place at Babangida’s uphill residence in Minna, Niger State.

Atiku arrived at the Minna airport by 11 am and was received by a former Governor of Niger State, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, before he proceeded to the uphill mansion of the former head of state.
A source said the visit was in connection with the outcome of the February 25, presidential election in which Atiku came second according to the result declared by INEC.
