The Chairman of Karu LGA of Nasarawa State, Mr James Thomas, has called for peaceful coexistence among the communities in the council and the state.
Mr Thomas made the call while congratulating the people of Karu, Nasarawa and Nigeria on the 63rd independence anniversary of the country on Tuesday.

He noted that since the creation of Nasarawa State created out of Plateau State on October 1, 1996, it had continued to live peacefully with its neighbours and settlers. (NAN)
