Gunmen have abducted a nursing mother and four others who were returning from a market in Iche village in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.
City & Crime reports that Iche is about five kilometres from Kagarko town.
A resident, Yahaya Bala, explained that the incident happened around 7pm on Sunday when the victims were returning from the market in Jere town in a Volkswagen Golf.
He said the bandits who emerged from under the bridge in Iche opened fire and deflated the front tyres of the car before forcing the occupants out and leading them into the bush.

He further said, “But the woman and her child were freed a few metres away from the scene where they were kidnapped.”
There was no response from the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command over the incident.
