In an act of charity, Nigerian artist Davido and the Chairman of Almubee Group, Mubarak Abuche, have donated the sum of two million naira each to Mohbad’s.
During his Manchester performance, Davido halted his performance to address the audience in a touching gesture of empathy. He reminded them that, despite their impressive looks, celebrities and artists are just human beings who face their own difficulties and challenges.

He said, “I just want to send my condolences to the family of my little brother Mohbad who passed away yesterday. You know, as we come on stage and perform for you guys every night, you guys might not know what we artists are going through. We’re human beings too, and it takes a lot for us to come out, perform, and deliver every night, and we do that because we love you. You feel me. A special shoutout to my brother; we know you’re in heaven watching us. Tonight, we turn up for you.”
Abuche also offered his five-month-old son a scholarship up to university level. In an Instagram story post, event host Big Smart stated that he had called the businessman, who complied and dispensed the donation to Mohbad’s wife.
