Daily Tru‎st’s Cartoonist, Mustapha Bulama, wins the Diamond Awards For Media Excellence (D.A.M.E) as cartoonist of the year 2018.

‎Mustapha was presented with the award at an event in Lagos South West Nigeria on Saturday.

The cartoonist emerged winner after a rigorous screening of the entries for the 27th edition of the D.A.M.E. award in the ‘Editorial Cartoon’ category.

The organiser in a letter sent to Mustapha dated November 28, 2018, said Bulama was among three finalists in the category and which he eventually won on Saturday, December 15, 2018 .
