Armed robbers on Friday night invaded Moniya, Ibadan, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State and killed a night guard.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust in Ibadan said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue of General Hospital, Moniya.

The robbers were repelled following their attempts to break into some buildings but had their way at a filling station in the area where they killed a security guard, Isa Yisahu.
A source on Saturday told our correspondent that the guard’s corpse was found at the garage section of the filling station with a log of wood suspected to have been used to smash his skull.
