The Chairman of Toto LGA of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, has sought the support of the Ona of Abaji and Chairman of the FCT Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, to tackle banditry and kidnapping in the area.
City & Crime reports that Toto LGA, which is eight kilometres to Abaji Area Council of the FCT, shares borders with FCT, Kogi and Niger states.
Tashas, while speaking when he paid a visit to the ona in his palace on Tuesday, informed him that motorists plying Abaji to Toto had always been victims of bandits and kidnappers.
Tashas, who was accompanied by the Speaker of Toto LGC, Abdullahi Ayizimazi, vowed to put an end to all forms of criminal activities in order to improve socio-economic activities in the area.
