Three suspected members of the ISIS terrorists group were on Sunday night arrested in the Federal Capital Territory with three AK-47 rifles.
City & Crime learnt that one of the suspects, Muhammad Muktar, was the first to be arrested around the Dan-Kogi Motor Park in Zuba town. He led the police to their hideouts in nearby Dakwa town, where his two accomplices were located.
The Sarkin Pada of Zuba, Alhaji Murtala Muhammad, told City & Crime on Monday that the first suspect alighted from a motorcycle around the motor park in Zuba and was planning to board another when someone noticed the AK-47 gun concealed under his cloth.

He said people raised an alarm and the suspect was arrested and taken to the chief’s palace some minutes after 8pm.
He said during the investigation, the suspect said he was a member of the terrorist group and that he came from Doron-Baga town in Borno State to kill someone.
He said, “Thereafter our vigilantes called the police and handed him over to them along with his AK-47 rifle and two magazines that were in his possession.”
“The police later called and told me that two other persons were arrested from Dakwa town with two AK-47 guns in their hideouts.’’
When contacted, spokeswoman of the FCT police command, Josephine Adeh, promised to enquire about the arrest and get back to our reporter but she did not up till the time of filing this report yester night.
