The second phase of the ongoing Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League has been moved from September 18 to October 2.
The second phase was scheduled to dunk-off on September 18 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State but the Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) has announced that it will now start on October 2 and end on October 8.
The NBBF said the change became necessary as a result of the change in date of the National Youth Games to be held in Asaba.
“Following the sudden change of dates for the 2023 National Youth Games (NYG) by the Federal Ministry of Sports Development and the Delta State Sports Commission, the Second Phase of the Atlantic Conference of the 2023 NBBF/ZENITH league earlier scheduled to hold from September 18 to 24, has been rescheduled,” the NBBF informed the clubs in a statement.

Despite the shift in date of the Atlantic Conference, action in the Savannah Conference will continue as planned.
The second phase will dunk-off on September 18 at the Lafia City Hall, Shendam Road, Lafia the capital of Nasarawa State.
