I spoke with His Highness and dispatched a delegation to express our condolences and assess the situation. Today, I conveyed our deepest sympathies on behalf of the Kaduna State government regarding the regrettable incident at this historic mosque,” he stated.
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, who was present during the condolence visit, extended condolences on behalf of the entire Muslim Ummah to the people of Kaduna State following the tragic incident.
