The Public Complaint Commission in Kwara State said it has resolved over 586 cases out of the more than 604 so far received.
Its state commissioner, Hon. Olawuyi Abidemi Joseph, stated this in Ilorin during a chat with Daily Trust.
- Police probe death of man found decomposing in room in Lagos
- Why we are engaging presidential candidates — Northern elders
Abidemi, who described the situation as unprecedented, noted that some of the cases are still undergoing investigation.
He said the responsibility of the agency is to help those who cannot afford to get lawyers.
The commissioner added that if the government misfires, the commission will look into the matter and do justice.
He explained that the commission would not dabble into a case already in court.
