A Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage has exposed how a lady set Ebeano Supermarket at Lokogoma in Abuja on fire.

The supermarket had recorded a major fire outbreak on July 17, with properties worth millions of naira lost.

Fire fighters from Asokoro, Garki, Games Village and the National Judicial Institute in Abuja put out the fire several hours.

At the time of the incident, Mr Ibrahim Muhammad, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Federal Capital Territory Fire Service, had said the cause of the inferno was unknown.

But in the CCTV footage currently in circulation, a lady was seen at the cylinder session of the supermarket.

She stood in front of some items before setting the place on fire.
