Two persons have been killed while many others injured when an articulated truck plumped into the popular Beggars Settlement Centre, in Akinyele village, Akinyele local government area of the state.
A witness told City & Crime that the driver of the truck lost control and rammed into the settlement centre where two persons were reportedly killed.

Our correspondent learnt that two of the victims died on the spot while others were critically injured.
Confirming the incident, the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Alhaja Kafila Olayiwola attributed the accident to break failure.
She said; “We received a call about the accident that happened at the resettlement center and we responded immediately.
‘When we got there, a witness told us that a trailer loaded with rice hit another vehicle as a result of brake failure, one rammed into the fence up to the female hostel while the other trailer collapsed on another perimeter fence.”
“As I speak, the injured ones are receiving and responding to treatment at a nearby government hospital while the corpses of the dead ones have been buried according to Islamic rites.”
