The Kano State police command has paraded 21 youths with weapons and illicit drugs who were arrested within the metropolis on the day of Takutaha.
According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the youth were arrested at different places amidst people (celebrants) by police operatives.

The suspects, between the ages of 17 and 30, were arrested at Madigawa, Kabuga, Geza, Rijiyar Lemo and Dala areas among others.
He said the police had warned against any act of indiscipline that could lead to a breach of public peace.
