The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has presented certificate to President Muhammadu Buhari, laying to rest the controversy over his secondary certificate.

Presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina announced this on his Twitter handle @FemiAdesina this afternoon.
The tweet reads: ” WAEC presents attestation certificate and confirmation of school cert result to President Buhari. What will the naysayers say next?”
Daily Trust online reports that controversy resumed over the President’s secondary school certificate last week when the list of Presidential candidates of political parties was released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The President claimed that his certificate was still with the military authorities.
