Reps probe reveals N35bn service wide vote to head of service

Permanent Secretary of the HoS, Remi  Adelakun presented to the committee on public account a record of N17bn received by the office within the said period from the service wide vote account.
The representative of the budget office Director-General, who gave a year-by-year releases to the HoS indicated a total release of over N52 billion leaving a difference of N35bn.
The committee chairman, Rep Solomon Adeola-Olamilekan agreed to the request of HoS permanent secretary to sort out the difference.
He ordered Adelakun to re-appear before it with relevant document that will prove that the budget office gave them only N17 billion.
