The Western Nigeria Security Network (Amotekun Corps) in Osun State has charged residents, especially Muslims, to be security conscious as they observe the Ramadan fast and lectures.
Brig-Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi, Osun State Commander of Amotekun Corps, gave the charge in a congratulatory message to Muslim faithful on Monday on the commencement of the fast.

Adewinmbi assured the people of the state of adequate security, urging Muslims and other citizens to use the fasting period to pray for the progress of Osun and Nigeria as a whole.
He also enjoined the Muslim faithful to always remember the country in their prayers, saying they should use the efficacy of Ramadan prayers to pray for peace in the country. (NAN)
