Operatives of Ogun Police Command have arrested two suspected members of a robbery gang, who specialise in snatching motorcycles in Sango Ota and environs in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.
The two suspects, Abiodun Ogundele, 23, and Opeyemi Olatubosun, 22, were arrested following a distress call received at Ota divisional headquarters.

One Adesoji David, a motorcyclist, had told the police that he was attacked at Joju area of Sango Ota, by armed hoodlums.
The Police Spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Thursday, told newsmen in Abeokuta that upon the distress call, the DPO Ota, CSP Godwin Idehai, mobilised his men and moved to the scene.
“On sighting the policemen, the suspects, who had already snatched the victim’s Bajaj motorcycle, took flight, but were chased, and two among them were arrested, while the other one escaped,” he said.
Oyeyemi said items recovered were one locally made pistol, one live cartridge, one expended cartridge and the snatched motorcycle.
The police spokesman quoted the Commissioner of Police, Edward Awolowo Ajogun, to have ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation.
The CP also reportedly directed that the fleeing member of the gang be hunted and brought to book as soon as possible.
