A young man suspected to be a motorcycle snatcher has been lynched in Bida LGA of Niger State.
Sources told City & Crime that the suspect was apprehended while trying to run away with a motorcycle he reportedly snatched after stabbing the owner.
A source, Yususa Ndako, said, “He stabbed and forcefully collected the motorcycle from a commercial motorcycle rider in the Sunday Market axis in Bida. But he was chased and apprehended somewhere in the Banyagi area of the town.”
He noted that snatching and killing of commercial motorcycle riders had become incessant in Bida and environs.

The Chairman of Bida LGA, Bala Shaba, who confirmed the incident, said it happened around 6pm on Saturday, calling on the youths to desist from jungle justice for the sake of peace and normalcy.
