The FCT Police Command has paraded one Mustapha Aliyu, 22, who was arrested with a freshly severed human head.

The Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma, while parading the man alongside others arrested for various crimes, said he was arrested on May 19 following a distress call to the police in the territory.

He said the victim is a 3-year-old boy of Rugan Fulani near Leleyi Village in Kwali Area Council of the territory.

Ciroma said Mustapha had confessed that prior to his arrest he had beheaded four children and given their heads to his master now at large.

He said he was paid N170,000  for every male head and N160,000 for every female victim. He said his victims were from Sheda, Kwali, Kilankwa, Gwako and Leleyi villages all in Kwali Area Council. The police commissioner said efforts were being intensified to arrest his fleeing master.

Musatpha told journalists that he became involved with the master when he was looking for money to register for his senior secondary school examination in Kaduna. He said he however used the money he made from the criminal acts to buy lands. Other suspects paraded included suspected one-chance robbers and hard drug sellers.
