The Osun State Police Command has arrested three suspected members of a secret cult for kidnapping and killing two people.
The suspects, Olabode Owoeye (32), popularly known as Bode Itaapa; Mukaila Lateef (45) and David Samuel (26), were arrested with pump action guns and a Beretta pistol in their possession.
The state’s police spokeswoman, SP Yemisi Opalola, said some people reported at the Iperindo Police Station that two persons, Kelechi Agha and Tega Robinson, left home to a mining sites and did not return.
He said credible intelligence revealed that some members of the Aye confraternity were sighted moving freely around with weapons the same day.

She said that detectives arrested Bode Itaapa and that he confessed that his gang was responsible for the abduction and killing of the missing persons.
She further said the suspect also confessed that his group comprised of political thugs working for a politician in the state.
She said that, according to him, the politician passed directives to the gang through another cultist, Adefioye Solomon, popularly knowns as Solo Iwara, who was on police wanted list for so many murder cases within the Ilesha axis.
In an interview with our correspondent at the command’s headquarters in Osogbo, the suspects confessed to the allegations.
Other items recovered from the suspects included an unregistered TVS motorcycle, charms and one black unregistered Toyota Highlander.
