Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested 10 suspects over alleged murder and kidnapping in the state.
Those arrested over murder included Joshua Edo, 50, Obayuwana Happy, 25, Uhunwangho Everest, 52, Chidera Umeh, 21, Simon Benjamin, 39, Odion Adagbonyin, 43, Kennedy Ohro, 42, and OsayiAdagbonyin, 41, while Kamsiru Abubakar, 20, and AkhorDaraman, 28, were arrested over alleged kidnapping.
The police spokesman in the state, Moses Yamu, alleged that the murder suspects actively participated in the mayhem in Obazagbon community and were arrested at different intervals and locations in Benin City.

Yamu added that the crisis resulted in the killing of some innocent people, including a physically challenged person, Efe Ogbeide.
