Plateau pilgrim dies in Makkah

The executive secretary of the Plateau State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Hayabu Dauda, has announced the passing away of one of the pilgrims from the state.

Dauda said the pilgrim, Ismaila Musa, died after an illness at Annur Specialist Hospital, Makkah, where he spent three weeks in bed.

In a statement by the executive secretary made available to newsmen in Jos Tuesday, the board condoled with the family of the deceased.

“We wish to extend our heartfelt condolence to his immediate family, the government and people of Plateau State and prayed for Allah to accept his hajj and grant him eternal rest,” he said.

The executive secretary prayed Allah to give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Musa hailed from Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
