Peter Obi’s supporters can march in Lagos, but can’t in Anambra over sit-at-home fear – Omokri

A former aide to Nigeria’s former president, Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Reno Omokri, has stated that supporters of Peter Obi can march for him in Lagos, but cannot replicate that move in his home state of Anambra.

Mr. Omokri stated this recently in a series of tweet on his verified Twitter handle @renoomokri.

He said, “Obidents can march for Obi on Monday in Lagos but can never try it in Anambra. They will live in Lagos and praise Obi for turning Anambra into a paradise. If Anambra was a paradise, then are they still doing in Lagos? Action speaks louder than words! Relocate to Anambra and we will know you are serious.”

Recall that Indigenous People of Biafra has declared sit-at-home on Mondays in Southeastern states.

Omokri further said that security, schools, healthcare, and power currently experienced in Lagos state are far better than what is obtainable in Anambra State, adding that civil servants in Lagos are better paid than their counterpart in Anambra.

But a Twitter user @onyekachuke, stated that “We need Obi who is more interested in building the system than building conglomerate of treasury looters and election riggers. Obi built APGA in Anambra that even him can not uproot, that is what we want him to replicate in 9ja.”

Another user, @OnwuofDelta, said, “Obi had technocrats in his team and after a successful 8 years of good governance, they all went to their various professions. They were not hangers-on looking for state’s resources to hijack. Stop being petty!”
