Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Tuesday said no amount of noisemaking from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) will stop the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) from winning the state governorship election expected to hold in March.
Ortom spoke when he received the PDP’s governorship candidate, Titus Uba, at Government House in Makurdi.

Uba had just returned home after being away for several weeks on medical vacation in Germany where he underwent treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
Ortom while thanking God for the speedy recovery of Uba, said his quick recovery was an indication that all forces of darkness against the state and PDP had failed woefully.
