Ex-Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Oliseh has urged Napoli hero, Victor Osimhen on the transfer move to the English Premier League so as to take his career to the next level.
Oliseh revealed on Twitter that he believed Osimhen needed to make a move after conquering Italy with Napoli.
The former Super Eagles coach congratulated Osimhen on the success of his 2022/23 season, and went on to say that a move to the Premier League will bring him even more success.
Oliseh’s tweet while quoting another tweet read, Well said Sis, I was tense when they trailed 0-1. By leading Napoli to this title, Osimhen,in my opinion, is now in full contention for Worldwide coronation! Next step? The Premier league I feel. Congrats Bro!
Osimhen has been linked to Chelsea and Manchester City, but both the player and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis have dismissed any potential summer transfer move.
Oliseh represented Nigeria 54 times between 1993 and 2002, earning legendary status for his contributions to the midfield of arguably the greatest footballing era in the country’s history.
