Maidoki, in his New Year message to his constituents yesterday, said assured them of his commitment to serving them up until the end of his tenure.

He said in the last six months, he had worked to justify the confidence reposed in him by the overwhelming majority of the people of the constituency by giving them a face and a voice at the Senate.

He thanked his constituents, including the Emir of Zuru, Major-General Muhammadu Sani Sami (Rtd), for their love, support and prayers which, he said had remained his source of strength and inspiration.

“Dearest constituents, I share with you, the joy of the New Year in absolute gratefulness to Allah, who by His endless mercies has preserved us all. May Allah bless and reward you accordingly in 2024 and beyond.

“Our party, the PDP, deserves mention for its support. I thank our stakeholders/leaders, youth, women and students who have remained excellent examples of dependable allies in our modest efforts at contributing to the development of Kebbi South.

“As we begin the journey in 2024, it is my humble and passionate appeal that we continue to stick together as one family. Again, I wish you all a rewarding and productive 2024,” Maidoki stated.
