The Speaker, House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, has called on Nigerians to remain resolute and keep their hopes alive for the country to overcome its developmental and other challenges.

He made the call in a new year message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, on Thursday.

Gbajabiamila congratulated Nigerians as they prepare to witness the New Year 2021 despite the challenges they have faced in 2020.

He urged them to keep their hopes alive and remain positive as the country passes through challenging and trying times.

“It is my hope and prayer that the year 2021 will be better than all the preceding years of our nation’s history.

“In this New Year, let’s remain resolute and determined in our nationhood.

“Yes, we may be going through challenges as a nation, but with our collective determination, we shall overcome,” Gbajabiamila said.
