The Kogi State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has said it has arrested 56 narcotic dealers and seized assorted drugs within the last three months.
The state’s Commandant of NDLEA, Abdulkadir Fakai Abdullahi, disclosed this on Tuesday, saying the period under review also witnessed seven convictions at the Federal High Court, Lokoja, while other cases were under investigation.

Abdullahi said operatives arrested four suspects with 18 pump action guns and 2,300 live cartridges with ammunition on September 17, 2022, on the Okene-Lokoja highway.
He said the 56 suspects included Chukwudi Aronu (51), Shuaibu Gambo, Anthony Agada, (37) and Ifechukwu (65).
