Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has appointed overseers for the 18 development areas in the state.
The names of the nominees have been forwarded to the state House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The Speaker of the house, Mr. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, announced this after the House Leader, Mr. Umar Tanko Tunga, presented the governor’s request in Lafia on Monday.
The overseers, if confirmed would man the affairs of their development areas for speedy development at the grassroots.
The speaker directed the clerk of the House to communicate the appointees to submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitae (CV) today and tomorrow.
