The Railway Property Management Company Limited (RPMCL) has sealed-off shops of erring tenants following the commencement of the regularisation of tenants on railway properties across the country.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Timothy Zalanga, who led a task force to Kakuri in Kaduna South Local Government Area of the state, urged the affected tenants to come to the office for proper regularisation so they can continue to transact their businesses.

Addressing journalists in Kaduna during the task force activities carried out by the company yesterday, that led to the sealing of over ten rented facilities in Kaduna south, Zalanga lamented the non-compliance of the occupants with laid down rules and regulations and vowed to recover debts on all rented facilities.

He explained that despite all their initial efforts for the occupants to do their businesses without any form of harassment, they were despised because people thought that they cannot sustain the exercise.
