The Naira on Wednesday slide at the parallel market by N6 to reach N765/$ but strengthened at the official Import and Export Window by N0.42 to settle at N461.05/$.

Daily Trust reports that the dollar at the I&E window on Tuesday went for N461.67 and N461.00 on Monday. However, the naira made a quick recovery on Wednesday at N461.05/$ at the official window.

However, at the parallel market, our reporter learnt the dollar was sold in Abuja for N765 rising from 759/$ the previous day.

Nigerians are worried about the continued slide of the naira especially at the parallel market at a time when a historic cash crunch has hit the country with massive waves of protest across some states.
