For months, ace Nollywood actress has been teasing her fans hinting that she is in a relationship but has always failed to reveal her man. In several posts on her social media pages, the mother-of-two often referred to herself as ‘aya de owner’ which simply means ‘the owner’s wife.’
However, on Sunday evening, the actress shared some pictures on her Instagram page where she was in a warm embrace with a certain man identified as, Kazim Adeoti.

She shared two separate posts of herself and Adeoti cosying up to each other. In the first post which is a photoshoot she had with Adeoti, she captioned the picture, “It’s my Boo’s birthday in a bit. Cc @kazimadeoti thank you for being amazing,” and in the second post she simply wrote, “Couldn’t pick which slide is my fav, so I decided to post all. think first slide is my fav tho. I can’t wait to wish my best friend a happy birthday. I celebrate God’s goodness in your life Alhaji Kazim Adeoti @kazimadeoti. Alhamdulillah.” (sic)
Ever since she posted the pictures, her colleagues, friends and fans have taken to her comment section to express their happiness over the news.
Her colleagues in Nollywood like Iyabo Ojo, Moyo Lawal, Mimi Orjiekwe, Chioma Akpotha, and many others simply dropped heart emojis in her caption section.
While a fan with the Instagram handle @alabicouture while gushing over the couple simply said, “The way you guys look at each other is amazing and inspiring.”
Mercy Aigbe seems to have found love again after she left her marriage of five years. The actress was formerly married to a hotelier, Lanre Gentry but left her marriage in 2017 on allegations of domestic violence and infidelity.
