A 36-year-old man, Ahmad Musa, has been remanded by a magistrates’ court in Kano State for defiling a seven-year-old girl.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), Yakubu Lawan of Ayagi Quarters in Dala LGA reported at the Dala police station that on March 17, 2022, Ahmad Musa of Kofar Ruwa Quarters lured his niece (name withheld) into a security room at the same address and had canal knowledge of her.

At the court’s sitting on Monday, Musa pleaded not guilty to the charge pressed against him.
The magistrate, Mustapha Datti, thereafter ordered that Musa be remanded at correctional facility and adjourned the case to May 23.
