Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a 20-year-old man, Raphael Egbo, for allegedly stabbing to death his 19-year-old girlfriend, Jessica Uzowanne, following a disagreement.
The Commissioner of Police (CP), Abaniwonda Olufemi, who disclosed this to newsmen in Asaba, also said the command arrested a suspected kidnapper, Ogwu Endurance, who also raped his victim.
Olufemi explained that the suspect was a serial armed robber and involved a series of kidnapping I the Abraka area of the state, noting that in one of the robbery incidents he raped his 23-year-old victim.

The CP also disclosed the arrest of one Nicholas Charles, who allegedly stabbed to death one Ngozi Sharon William, a family friend that paid them a visit.
He explained that the late Ngozi visited the suspect and his wife as a family friend at 10 Adizue Onochie Street, Asaba, and that, “While the said Ngozi was in the apartment, a disagreement ensued between herself and the Nicholas, which took them to the kitchen During the course of the disagreement, the suspect picked a knife on the fridge and stabbed the victim which led to her death.”
