The police on Tuesday arraigned a 23-year-old man, Tope Falomo, before an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court in Ekiti State over alleged theft of iron pipes.
The prosecutor, Insp Olubu Apata, told the court that the defendant and others at large on February 15 at about 11am in Ajagbedu-Uso, Ado-Ekiti, conspired and stole iron pipes worth N250,000 belonging to one Falua Agboola.
The defendant pleaded not guilty, and his counsel, Mr Abiola Gboyega, urged the court to grant him bail.

The Magistrate, Mrs Kehinde Awosika, granted bail to the defendant in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned to March 27. (NAN)
