Upon graduation in 2019, the young graduate won a foreign scholarship for 370 First Class Kano Graduates to India for his Master’s Degree courtesy of Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation.

When asked how he was able to achieve this feat, he said all credits go to his mentors who motivated and guided him to reach the summit.

“Well, there is nothing much to say on how I emerged as the best student, it is Allah’s will.

“But I know that I concentrate fully in all of my academic classes, as well as laboratories,” he said.

He further explained that most of his leisure time was used for assignments and researches as he is highly interested in Automation and Robotics Engineering.

Nafi’u also pointed out that one of the serious challenges he faced during his undergraduate studies was difficulty in accessing research in his field of study because it was a brand new programme then.

He described studying in India as a novel experience that exposed him to various learning opportunities but added that studying in a new environment and in a COVID-19 pandemic era was challenging and difficult to cope with.
