This is coming against the backdrop of the recent spate of flight delays in the aviation sector.
Aligning with Adeyemi’s views his colleague in the House of Representatives, Hon. Nnaji Nnolim said the spate of flight delays in the country is no longer acceptable.
The Senate Committee Chairman said all airline operators under the aegis of Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) would be summoned to know the problem. He said while the airspace is safer under the present administration, the problem of flight delays has become worse in recent times.
He said the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has been doing its best to provide timely and up-to-date weather information. Nnolim on his part said the problem of flight delays is affecting businesses and “we can no longer take it. We will invite AON. We need to agree on this issue of flight delays.”
