Insecurity: JIBWIS directs Imams to hold special prayers

The leader of Jama’atu Izalatul Bidia Waikamatussunnah, JIBWIS, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, has directed all clerics leading the five daily prayers to embark on Alqunut in their prayers to seek Allah’s intervention for incessant insecurity in the country.

The leader made the call via the various social media handles of the JIBWIS on Tuesday.

He urged people to repent to Almighty Allah and seek for His forgiveness as the insecurity activities in the country are becoming increasingly dangerous.

“The National Chairman of Jibwis, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, has instructed all the Muslim clerics, especially those leading the daily prayers, to begin Al-Qunut and seek Allah’s intervention for the incessant insecurity in the country,” the announcement has said.

Recalled that many of the Juma’at mosques have started Alqunut prayer last week for the peace and security to reign in the country, particularly in the North.
