The substantive Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, Dr Bashir Gwandu, has resumed.
He took over on Monday from the officer overseeing the activities of the agency, Nonyem Onyechi.

Gwandu’s appointment, conveyed in a letter dated 19th May,2023 from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of The Federation, followed the expiration of the 10-year tenure of five years each of the former EVC/CEO of the agency, Mohammed Sani Haruna in April.

Gwandu on Monday began with a tour of the agency’s facilities.
He was conducted around the facilities by Nonyem Onyechi in the company of other management staff.
